Creative Visualisation Exercise 1

Before I start explaining Maria Duval's creative visualisation exercise 1, let me explain and recap what is the exact meaning of "Creative Visualisation". I have written about this topic before, however, there's no harm repeating once again in the latest blog post.

Creative Visualisation
In a simple term, this is a technique for representing a desired object with the help of some or a series of mental images in the form of thoughts. It is the ability to imagine, to form up images in your head repeated with affirmative thoughts, until they become an actual event that happens in your life.

Creative Visualisation Exercise 1
When you are walking, get into the habit of looking attentively at the people you meet and discipline yourself to remember as accurately as possible the cut and color of their clothes, their haircut, gestures, facial characteristics.

By getting into the habit of doing this, you will become more observant and you will be able to remember what you have seen for longer. You will also be prepared for more complex form of concentration, and it will help you with the creation of mental images when you start on the next two Maria Duval's visualisation exercises.
