Money as a symbol

Maria Duval thinks that money is one of the most powerful and mysterious symbols in the world.

Money is usually anonymous. It is difficult, if not impossible, to identify. What we wish for it mosdt is for money to flow to us and utilise it, as a general rule, to improve our life. Somtimes, money can betray us. It allows us to make buys that turn out to be sources of trouble, rather than good things we were hoping for.

Money is a powerful force that can save us or kill us, ruin our hopes (like gambling, speculating, cheating etc..), our families or on the contrary, it can allow us to flourish in prosperity. It is magical, because it can make everything, or nearly everything possible.

Maria Duval - Money
Maria Duval reiterates it is vital to understand that money is neutral. The only thing that matters is your state of mind when you use it. Basically. money is whatever you want it to be!

In its symbolic aspect, money represents the price that you accord to things. It is our mind that confers its true nature on it. If the mind does not give it sense, it is meaningless in itself. Our mind, our will, is good or bad according to the circumstances and opportunities.

Most importantly, money only becomes REAL POWER and tangible success when our mind has decided at least how and for what to use it. All this goes to show that money needs to be considered as a tool, a mean. Through the intermediary of your mind, you have the means to make it work when and how you want!

Self Esteem and Success

Maria Duval explains that self esteem is an area where many people are the unfortunate victims of wrong beliefs that will have negative and even dramatic impact on their lifestyle. For example, some people wrongly think that they have to earn their living, and that they have to work hard.

The question is, why is it that we need to earn what we already have - the divine goft of life?

All spiritual traditions are united on this point: Humans Maria Duval - Self Esteem and Successare created in the image of God. Life is a marvellous and sacred gift. Basically, all living things are worthy of life and deserve to be happy. Thus there is no need for you to prove your worth to earn the right to live.

Religious dogma has never been compatible with money. This is rather hypocritical. It is a known fact that churches have substantial amount of money off the back of devotees and pilgrims. Religions therefore entertain the belief that money is not divine and that you need to get rid of it to earn your place in heaven.

In fact, there is this famous phrase in Bible which states that "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven".

Hence, many peoeple who are unaware of their divine nature, have deloped a negative self image, one based in insecurity and self confidence. This void of self-esteem they secretly suffer from leads them subsconsciously to come up with thoughts like "I don't have the right to live" and etc.

Maria Duval adds that low self esteem will make your chances of success very remote as lack of self esteem means lack of money. When the shortage of money comes, you will have little faith in yourself.

That's why it is important to have a positive self image if you want to live in a prosperous manner
