Maria Duval: Do not take insults from others personally

Many people feel down and dispirited when they heard other people throwing insults at them or criticize them. Those who are weak-minded may even stray into mental turmoil as they struggle to contain these harsh words reverberating inside their minds. If this is not controlled, it can lead on to even more tragic events...

Psychic Maria Duval has come to address this very common human actions of insulting one another. What Maria says is that we are all responsible for our own actions, as all of us have our dreams, and each one of us is different. When you take an external insult at you too personally, you are assuming that others know what your world is like, and trying to set your world against theirs.

Maria Duval adds that when a situation seems very personal, even when the odds are bad against you, what is being badly about you has nothing to do with you. Those words are just purely their own opinions and what they conclude in their own minds.

Importantly, you should not confuse what others do (the objective facts), what you do (the feelings and emotions that arouses in you) and what you subsequently do (your personal reactions and decisions).

If someone comes to you and say you are really a big muddle-headed and clueless person, how will you react? First of all, Maria Duval advises, do not ever take those words personally, because what this person is actually confronting their own feelings, beliefs and opinions. They are trying to make you feel guilty and if you take it personally, you will take it and soon, assimilate it.
