Maria Duval - The 'Key' to What Really Motivates You to Achieve Your Dreams!

What motivates you? What gets you fired up? What gets your 'juices' flowing? What vision of the future excites you? Being inspired momentarily is easy for many people, but staying motivated long-term can be challenging for some of us. You go through a process of being really motivated in the beginning to being completely unmotivated, which makes it easy for anyone to quit. What happens when you go from being so excited you can't wait to get up in the morning, to being so tired you can't wait to go to bed at night. Somewhere between the starting point and the quitting point, the very thing that was driving you was lost.

Maria Duval Motivations
Many of us set goals, but only some of us stay motivated long enough to keep going until we reach them. Where does the difference lie? The difference lies in the motivation. The motivation is driven by the ability to stay focused on your dreams and how you will feel when you have successfully achieved the vision you have of your future. How do some people hold onto their motivation, while others find it easier to let it go? Those that hang onto their motivation have found something that drives them and they stay connected to it. What is it? It's the feeling of their goal. When you can put yourself in the moment of your goal achievement and feel what it feels like to be there - you have just experienced one of THE most powerful motivation tools. When you can connect to the feeling, and it's something you really want - then you can hang on to what you have to do in order to achieve it.

Think about how a parent might be driven to do something for their child. Maybe they go back to school so they can get a better paying job so they can provide a better life for them. Why? Because they want their child to feel good when they have the things they want and need. When the child feels good, the parent feels really good too.

The motivation to achieve our goals is driven by one of the deepest emotions - happiness. It is an important commonality among all goal seekers. Whether we want money, freedom, independence or health - it all comes down to the fact that we crave happiness. If we want to achieve a specific goal for someone else the same rule applies. We want to achieve a goal because it provides something for someone else - and again, whether it is money, freedom or some other aspect - it all comes down to the emotion of feeling happy. We want things for other people, because we want them to feel happy. And when they feel happiness, we feel happiness. In some cases, it may be vice versa; we crave to be happy for ourselves first - and that's perfectly OK!

You have dreams and goals, but when was the last time you felt them? Have you ever felt them? You might have the motivation to make more money, but there is any underlying reason below the surface. What is it? Get below the surface and connect with the feeling of what you want and why you want them. The underlying reason will help give you the motivation you need to keep going until you have achieved them.

Here are some exercises to help you connect with the feeling of your dreams and goals.

maria Duval goals
Start with your Life Intention Statement.
What are your goals? What do they mean to you? For your family? Friends? The rest of the world? If you could do anything in this lifetime what you most like to do? Maybe it's something you've always wanted to do, but didn't think it was possible for you? This is really an open exercise - there are no limits - think about things only you really want. You can phrase them as goals, intentions, life purpose - whatever you would like to call them.

Write all your goals down on paper and detail when you would like to achieve each one (specifically the month, day, and year).

When it's all said and done...
When this life is all said and done, what do you want people to say about you? How do you want to be remembered? Write down some statements you would like people to say about you. And does your Life Intention Statement big enough to accomplish what you want people to say about you? If it doesn't - you need to be thinking even bigger!

Tools for Staying Motivated

Visualization
The biggest key to staying motivated is to connect with the feeling of having already achieved your goal. Put yourself in the moment of living it. Feel the happiness, relief, joy, excitement - whatever good feeling you get from it and just hold on to for a moment. You can do this anywhere (except when you're driving!). All you do is close your eyes and just visualize it; the sounds, the smells, the touch.

For each goal, write down the emotions you imagine experiencing when you have achieved them. In moments when you need motivation, just review the emotions you noted with each goal. Reconnecting with the emotional side of your goals is a powerful way to stay motivated.

Written Goals
Writing your goals down and then reviewing them on a daily basis has a lot of impact. It actually works to focus your subconscious on the task at hand which reduces the amount of "wandering" the mind does when it doesn't have a goal to focus on. This will also aid with manifesting your goals quicker, because the more focused your mind is the more focused your actions will be - whether you consciously realize it or not. Put time on your calendar each day to review what you really want. It only takes a few minutes.

Set up Goal Milestones
It can seem like a lifetime between the time you set your goal and the day you finally achieve it, but it really isn't that long. To help make the gap between the starting point and the achievement point seem shorter, set up milestones where you reward yourself along the way. The reward can really be anything you wish it to be, as long as it's something that makes you feel good.

But be careful that your reward does not compromise your goal. As an example, if your goal is to eliminate $10,000 in debt and you do really well for 3 months and decide to reward yourself with a $3,000 shopping spree; that is not supporting your goals. However, if having a new pair of shoes or a new outfit is the one thing that would make you feel good - then spend $100, not $3,000. Maybe you've improved your eating habits to lose weight. You've been doing great, so you reward yourself with half a pizza and lots of beer. Again, the reward is vital, but it must support your goals. Get the point? It's OK to reward yourself, just don't compromise your goal and counter act the positive changes you've been making.

Whether you want to achieve your goals for you or someone else, you are full of potential and have the power to achieve anything. You can live your dreams and goals, if you just grab hold of them. The motivation will come from connecting with the feeling of why you wanted them in the first place. Stay focused on how achieving your goals will make you feel and you will stay motivated.

Maria Duval - How To Create Positive Affirmations

Creating positive affirmations is the first step in changing your self image and more forward on the road to success. Positive affirmations counter negative self talk by focusing you on your strengths and skills instead of your failings. Here's how to create positive affirmations:

positive affirmations1. Have a vision: Picture in your mind a positive outcome for your action. Your subconscious mind will
begin guiding you helping you make your vision a realty.

2. Begin your affirmation with "I" For example: "I am a great salesperson."

3. Use the present tense: Write your affirmation as if it is already accomplished.

4. Use short powerful sentences.

5. Believe in yourself. Make your affirmation believable.

6. Have faith in a power greater than you that wants only good for you.

7. Put these affirmations where you can see them and repeat them constantly.Think Positive!

8. Open your mind and heart to the unlimited possibilities and riches of the universe.

A great way to reinforce these positive affirmations is to set aside time everyday for meditation. By meditating even 5 or 10 minutes a day you will begin impressing these affirmations in your subconscious mind. As stated earlier you mind will begin acting on these affirmations, believing there are true and finding ways to bring them to fruition.

Read self improvement books and or listen to CD's that offer positive reinforcement. One book I highly recommend is "The Science of Getting Rich". This book is the fore runner of the popular best seller "The Secret". The Science of Getting Rich will guide you through the steps toward creating success and riches. This book could literally change your life. Follow these steps and with persistence you can reduce and eliminate negative self talk and begin living a more positive, confident life.

Two Sides of Personality

Your brain can be compared to a mirror as it constantly attracts and reflects ideas or images that come into your path. These ideas come and go, and there is no much mental control to "guide" them to a proper path of landing in an orderly manner.

If you are able to control these ideas and thoughts well, you will gain immense power through channelling. When there is control, there is order and it brings senses to the chaos of ideas.

Personality
Thus Maria Duval says that your mind must recognise its role and control the unruly ideas that fly around your head. It must sift through them, select them, and sanction them. Once you have finally have a valid set of ideas organised in your mind, then it only remains to take action.

And the best way of learning how to link up your ideas and to act on it is to use "auto suggestion". This will start you off on the road to success.

Maria Duval also adds that the biggest thing is to recharge your magnetic potential which may have died down. To recharge it, there is a need to curb and control the emotions and your imagination, which dissipate and waste your magnetic power.

Your need to change and modify all responses which have been ingrained and that it makes you habitual and worthless. Your reason and your intellect should have the biggest influence on how you conduct yourself.

It's not a matter of mobilising your will power to overcome your habits, but simply using your imagination and emotions in the way Maria Duval is going to teach you.

There are two sides to your personality. One is the conscious which is your intellect, reason and thought, and too often, this personality clashes with your unconscious personality which is the behaviour instilled sine childhood, and the realms of emotions, feelings and imagination.

Surviving the impacts of negative media

Watching the news can be hazardous to your health don't you think so? And yes, there are really more bad news than good news it seems!

Imagine the uncomfortable feeling of becoming a victim (be it physical or financial or traumatic victim) someday. This will have a negative effect on your outlook in life.

And this is something all of us should prevent from being sculpted in our mindset. The surroundings have a big impact on you. How can you think and grow rich if you're bombarded with messages that relates "how difficult life has become" or "how poor most of us has turned out to be?"
Maria Duval on negative mediaWe are all little souls so it could be difficult to be influential on the big stage. Maria Duval says that you can't change your environment, but you certainly can control your mind - through visualisation.

Yes, I advise more people to visualise good things in life, and let go of unhappiness as best as you can do it. I know it sounds unrealistic. Yet that's how the mind works under this big Universe.

Just visualise and imagine, just like you are a little kid again, visualising one day you will step on those fluffy white clouds. Imagine your home as a palace, your simple meal as fine dining gourmet, and your nearby park as your favorite vacation spot. Just imagine. Subconsciously, your thoughts will transform the images into their physical components. It's just that magical, and simple too! So just visualise it!

Personally I feel the media has powerfully influenced everyone of us around. It is nearly impossible to get away from the media influence unless one is totally shut off from the real world. Some of these could be very negative in outlook.

When we grow up in a negative environment, we tend to acquire the traits and characteristics of people around us. For example, those kid soldiers in unrest regions of the world were taught that they were saving the world and saving the truth of the religion. I think this is extremely saddening because their minds had been infiltrated with wrong negative influences.

This just goes to say that anyone who joins in the company of a like-minded group will have a big chance of being influenced by the personality of that group. So what can you do if you're surrounded by people who deviates from your way of thinking?

Maria Duval says that you can't just avoid them. Simply control your mind and learn how to shield out pessimistic comments or suggestions. Moreover, you should be with people who have the same principles and ideologies as you do. You will be more encouraged to continue your dreams if you have a support group or mentor who will prod you to pursue your goals despite the setbacks.

You have the power to make your dreams a reality. Now relax and show the world what stuff you are made of.

Maria Duval - Manifesting Your Desires

Psychic Maria Duval says that manifesting is a superb way to start living the life you wish and dream off.

Maria Duval gives me a this simple plan for manifesting and I will start seeing the changes I desire in my life.

The most important thinking in the first step to being successful at manifesting is to realize that you are a creator!

Yes, that's right, YOU are a creator. You are linked and connected to the universal intelligence, the same intelligence that is responsible for all creation. I like to call it God and he tells us "Ask and You Shall Receive".

Manifest for Wealth and ProsperitySource: flickr
What you verbally ask for is useless unless it is backed by the same thoughts and emotions. The key to manifesting what you want is thinking about it in the sense that you have already achieved it. There must be an absence of doubt and it must be combined with the feelings of accomplishing the request.

Follow these easy steps and begin manifesting the life you want.

First find a quiet place to think about what it is you desire. You must be able to focus all of your attention on your desire, and then follow these three steps.

1. Think - You must think about what it is you desire. Visualize your desire in detail and feel the emotions you would have by accomplishing your desire. It is important to focus only on what it is you desire. This needs to be done daily for a just a few minutes. See yourself as already accomplishing what it is you desire.

2. Speak - Now I am not referring to talking about your dream to all of your friends, family members, and colleagues. It is not good to let people know your inner most desires. Most people will only tell all of the reasons why it can not be done. Don't allow yourself to be exposed to that negativity. What I do mean is to talk about it to yourself and do it in the present tense. Talk about it as if you have already reached your dream and are living the life you want.

3. Act - Lastly, you must act on your desire. It is not enough to just think and talk about it. You must ACT upon it! That means developing a plan and acting on that plan. You must ACT with a never ending perseverance that does not accept failure. If the original plan does not work then tweak the plan and try again. Success comes to those that persevere and are willing to sacrifice to reach their dreams.

Stay focused - think, speak, and act.

If you do your desires will start transforming into realities. Every great achievement started as a thought that evolved into reality by it's owners unrelenting actions. Let your connection to God be a path to manifesting your dreams into reality. "Ask and you shall receive", it can't be any simpler than that.

Start living your new life today by implementing this recipe for manifesting.
